The AMC 10A and 12A are 75-minute contests where students may not use a calculator. The AMC 10B and 12B will take place about a week later. Most interested students will take the 10A or 12A contest. Only a limited number of copies of the 10B and 12B will be available for students who were not available for the 10A and 12A or for students who wish to take both versions. High scores might qualify students for the AIME in March. November 8, 2023 and November 14, 2023 are the national dates for the A and B contests respectively.
OCTM contest was created by math teachers and might be given one day in late September or early October. High scores might qualify students for the OHMIO contest. The OHMIO contest is usually given in early November. The tentative date for 2023-2024 is September 28.
