Eight Revere High School Students Qualify as National Merit® Commended Students

Eight RHS Students Qualify as National Merit Commended Students

 

It is always a proud and joyful moment when we celebrate and recognize the accomplishments of our amazing students. Today, we are beyond pleased to share that eight (8) Revere High School (RHS) seniors qualified as 2026 National Merit®  Commended Students. These students have demonstrated exceptional academic promise, as evidenced by their outstanding performance on the qualifying test used for program entry.  Commended students placed among the top 50,000 students from over 1.3 million who took the PSAT last fall.  

 

Our commended students include: Ashley Gardner, Andrew McBennett, Gabriela Iler, Max Braun, Max Richardson, Rohan Dasanoor, Rasika Veerappan, and Tarun Venkatesh

 

Let’s celebrate these incredible students who have earned this national recognition.  We hope that this recognition will help broaden their educational opportunities and encourage them as they continue their pursuit of academic success.  

 

Additionally, last week we announced that students Arthur Peron, Emerson Beesley, and William Sibbald are semifinalists in the 2026 National Merit® Scholarship Program. These three semifinalists will continue competing.  Winners will be announced in the spring of 2026.
